Who Cares? WE DO! And we know that you do, too. At the Delinquency Prevention Council, we understand that parenting is not a perfect science and there is no handbook to guide us along the way. At times children can be very challenging and as a parent, you may not know where to turn. We hope that this information website will be useful in locating practical information regarding the various issues that you may be experiencing with your child. Thank you for visiting our website.

All that said, the Delinquency Prevention Council of Jefferson County, Wisconsin wants to help. In 2007, the School Age and Intervention committees joined together to create this website for teens and parents. The purpose of this project was to connect you to accurate, concise and trustworthy resources on the internet, in a time when ANYONE can put information online, regardless of it's integrity. We did the research for you and located several reliable sites where you can find information about a variety of parenting concerns. If you find this site helpful, we encourage you to share it with others.

This website is divided into two sections; one for parents and one for teens. Each section covers a variety of topics, which you will see located on the left side of this page. On each page we have listed credible websites where you can find accurate information. We focused our information search on common parent-teen concerns; however, please understand that not every concern will be addressed here. If there is a topic that you'd like to see more information on, please contact us and we will do what we can to meet your needs.
